Our next Come and Try workshop is September 21! Learning improvisation will improve your public speaking skills and boost your confidence when speaking on the spot. It's also a wonderfully fun hobby with a diverse community of creative people! Improvisation has been made popular by television shows such as Thank God You’re Here, Middleditch & Schwartz and Whose Line is it Anyway?, and now you can join On the Fly’s experienced teachers to explore its core concepts in a supportive environment. Gorilla Theatre™
7:30pm - 26-27 September 2:00pm - 29 September Prompt Creative Centre, 8/205 Pirie St, Adelaide Five Directors. One Gorilla. Some Monkey Business. In this daring and hilarious format, five improvisors direct scenes to inspire, challenge and excite their fellow players. Succeed in the audience's eyes, and they win a banana! Fail, and the director will have to perform a forfeit - maybe apologise for their scene in interpretive dance, or explain what went wrong in rhyming couplets! Watch these directors compete to fulfil their artistic visions, since only one gets the ultimate prize: a week of quality time with the gorilla! |
