Keen to improvise but can't commit to a term of class? Come jam with us! On the Fly runs open and specialty jams on a regular cadence through the year.
Impro jams are one-off drop-in sessions where you can play, socialise, and keep your impro skills sharp. Each jam is run by an experienced On the Fly facilitator who will guide you through warm-ups, then run exercises, games, and scenes to suit the group's needs, with no pressure to perform or participate beyond your own comfort.
Our open jams have no experience required, and are a great way to get a taste for impro and to meet our community.

Pre-requisites: None at all, come as you are!

Haven't got enough impro in your week? Can't attend all the classes or regularly make the class time slots? Come to a Saturday Impro Drop-In!
Keep your impro going as one of On the Fly's teachers will facilitate a standalone, Drop-In Workshop, giving you the opportunity to keep developing your technique, get some experience, and have a whole lot of fun!
Some Impro Drop-Ins may start with the instructor asking if anyone has anything they would like to focus on, so feel free to have an idea in mind.
Otherwise just come along for the ride and let the instructor take the reins!
All you need to bring is your enthusiasm!

On The Fly's Jam is an open event to all improvisors, both experienced and aspiring, to hang out in a friendly and comfortable environment to practice the stuff we love! It is facilitated by an experienced On The Fly instructor but is led by the participants. Bring along your ideas, games, things you want to practice, maybe something experimental or just bring yourself as you are :)
We'll start with a check-in, a touch of name learning, warm up with some exercises, and then let the jamming commence!
